What do I get if I order a pair?
You get a pair of black or white, hand painted Airwalk®, men's or women's slip on's or lace up's. Or City Sneaks® brand depending on availability. I've also been using the Faded Glory® brand for the children's shoes. Shoe brand will be clarified prior to any work started.

Once I'm finished painting them I'll spray them with a protectant, let them air out, wrap them up, and mail them to you!

How long do these shoes last?
Speaking from experience I know that Airwalks are a good shoe, unless you're really really rough on your shoes.

The design I paint, however, should last as long as the shoes, if not longer. The pair I've been wearing I have beaten the crap out of to make sure the colors hold up and they've held up really well. The first day I wore them I spilled a delicious beverage all over one of them and didn't wash it out right away. A few days later I got grease on one of them by accident. The following week I went for a hike through the woods in them and slid down a steep, loose dirt hill and got them completely filthy. Then I walked through a river with them and continued the hike with them soaking wet and getting caked with wet dirt. When I got back from the hike I sprayed them off with a hose to get most of the dirt out. The following day I ran them through the washing machine using regular detergent (not the gentle stuff I should have used) then ran them through the dryer. The dirt washed out, the beer stain washed out, the grease stayed a little because I didn't treat it. But the design on the shoes still looks great. Not quite as bright as the day they were done, but close. And I get compliments on them from people all the time when I wear them and people ask where they can get a pair. Awesome!

All sales are final, no returns.
That's right kids....because each pair is hand painted for each order there are no returns. These are final sales. So make sure you tell me the correct size and you're sure you want a pair! Once your payment clears and I order the blank ones to paint on for you it's a done deal.

If you're not sure about sizing you could cruise on over to Payless Shoes and try on a pair of Airwalks or City Sneaks and try them on there. Then you'll know exactly what size you need. In general I've found that the shoes run pretty true to size.

How long will it take for me to get my shoes once I order them?
Currently the wait time is 2-6 weeks. I will keep you posted whenever your shoes are ordered or are in production so you'll know what's going on with your order. If your shoe size is in stock in my area you'll get them quicker than if I have to order the blanks first.

If you happen to be paying by check, like an actual check that you mail to me...I won't order your blank shoes until the check clears. So that could also add to your wait time.

Now, are you ready to order a pair?
If you'd like to order a pair, send me an email using my contact page and we'll get you started! Or you can head on over to my Etsy shop and buy them through there!
